About Us
Matcha service, considered properly.
Matcha Minka was built on a simple idea: event matcha should feel as intentional as the rest of the event.
Our Story
Matcha service, considered properly.
Matcha Minka was built on a simple idea: event matcha should feel as intentional as the rest of the event.
Too often, matcha catering is treated as an afterthought — functional, forgettable, and visually disconnected from the event around it. Matcha Minka was created to offer something better: a hospitality-first matcha experience that feels refined, looks right in the room, and reflects well on the host.
We think good event service should do more than check a box. It should add to the atmosphere, move smoothly, and make the host look like they chose well. That is the standard Matcha Minka is built around.
We serve events across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area.

What Guides Us
Our values.
Quality
Ceremonial-grade matcha sourced directly from Japan — we work directly with farmers. House-made ingredients. No shortcuts, no exceptions. The standard applies to every cup, at every scale.
Hospitality
We are not just a vendor. We are responsible for how your guests feel. That requires training, care, and a genuine orientation toward the people we serve.
Craft
Each drink is prepared with intention. We take a centuries-old tradition seriously — and bring that same seriousness to every event we work.
Matcha Minka brought exactly the kind of polish we wanted. It didn't feel like an add-on. It felt like part of the event design.

Our guests were obsessed. The matcha was incredible, the cart looked beautiful, and the team was warm and professional the entire time. Worth every penny.

Booked them for a brand activation and they absolutely delivered. Setup was seamless, the drinks were stunning, and every single guest asked who they were.
